In recent years people asked me when I would retire from teaching. My answer was always, "What would I do?" Not being one to just sit in my rocking chair I knew I needed something to keep me busy. When visiting family I found this house for sale. I fell in love with the 1910 craftsman and the idea of a B&B was born. So after 40 years of teaching overseas, I turned in my lesson plans for the last time, renovated the house, and am now welcoming new friends to my home.
